Sean's work in animation captures the oldest form of animation using paper and a glass multi-plane. His work for the past ten years is best known in the Fleet Foxes music videos he's created including, The Shrine / An Argument, Mykonos and White Winter Hymnal. His animations also are commercially seen in works for BBC and The New York Times.
In this workshop, Sean will discuss his process of lighting, photography and cut paper approach to the timeless filmmaking of Stop Motion. He'll also discuss his favorite artists and animation inspirations, digging deep into the 60's and 70's of weird animators.
Join us for a 4 hour class where students will learn the in-depth process of animation, using paper, multi-plane and puppetry.
